Illini take liking to coach's competitive spirit

"I feel there's a whole new energy throughout the locker room," O'Toole said. "Coach Beckman just gets us excited."

Illini fans won't know what they're being served until the fall, but Saturday's Orange and Blue game gave a few hints despite the rainy conditions.

The two sides punted a combined 10 times and Beckman described the quarterback play as "off and on."
