Opportunity for Illini football

A realistic chance for us to climb to Middle Earth, where Iowa and Michigan State and Wisconsin have lived for the past decade. A 9-3 here, a 7-5 there, Outback and Insight and Gator Bowls galore. The division alignment, combined with Northwestern as our protected rival, combined with the Penn State disaster, has provided us a schedule opportunity that I don't believe we've ever seen.
