ESPN/ABC is set to announce today that BrentMusburger, through a new two-year deal, will be around to call the last two Bowl Championship Series title games before big-time college football adopts a new four-team playoff system.
"I want to keep going as long as I feel good and they'll have me," says Musburger, saying he's "73 going on 49." But Musburger will just work ESPN/ABC college football, on its top announcing team with analyst Kirk Herbstreit -- and Heather Cox who, he says, is replacing Erin Andrews, who went to Fox -- and calls college basketball with Bob Knight..
"I'm not going to ride off into the sunset," says Musburger by phone Sunday while vacationing in Cape Cod.
