The defense came up big, the OL is still a major work in progress

# Great to start the season with a win.
# Our defense really came up big, lot of TOs, stuffed the run, took away the big play. # WMU wasn't hitting on all cylinders with the new WR.
# WMU doesn't have a good defense. Given all of the field position our offense had, it was a disappointment not to score more.
# Our OL is still a major work in progress. Yes, they did okay pass blocking, but mainly on quick throws. Run blocking wasn't very good for the most part and that was why we didn't move the ball consistently. If we can't run the ball on WMU, one of the worst defenses in the country against the run last year, we could be in for a long season offensively.
