John Groce-
On the Orange & Blue Scrimmage
We didn't play very well.
It was an interesting film session day after the Scrimmage.
The team practiced better Friday & Saturday then they played at the Scrimmage.
Trying to get the team to understand the concept "consistency over greatness".
Love the guys, great group, very coachable.
On Thursday's exhibition game vs McKendree
Groce wants to be a lot better than they were for the Scrimmage.
Better post defense. Nnanna set the SFC record for most post touches in a 10-minute span at the Scrimmage.
Run better on transition offense & defense.
Better communication on switching.
We got a long way to go in a lot of different areas.
Shot selection and ball movement was decent at the Scrimmage.
Pleased about the players' conditioning.
