The TL; DR of the 2nd half was that Illinois' defensive front 4 couldn't get pressure vs normal protection, while USF's front 3 could vs max protection. MJ wasn't perfect, but also running for his life while trying to find an open receiver in 8-man coverage.

FWIW Lovie said he expects some players to return to the field soon. I asked if that meant the suspended players, and he didn't clarify. But, yes, I expect them back on Friday. Could've used them today. #illini
