At least the freshman will be getting some valuable time this season....oh wait...nevermind.

On the bright side, AJ looked good attacking the basket and being aggressive. It looked like he and DJ were incapable of doing that against Nebraska but I see some good potential in AJ despite the missed bunny

Very poor effort on the court. Injuries don't impact effort. We look disorganized and we are going through the motions. It is very disappointing and sad. Go Illini.

We need to have the chocolate milk commercial man teach these kids how to rebound...

Always wondered how they are on here and not just on ESPN website????

Because I just switched from AT&T UVerse to DirectTV and I don't remember my login information and I am on the road away from home.

Im not seeing poor effort. Its poor decisions. Especially by Hill and Tate that half. I think we need to get the ball to Finke a little more. Maybe in the high post. He usually makes good decisions with it.

Your right that, 60 seconds was THE difference in the first half....

If you prefer AA, who doesn't even need to be guarded and gets beat on D to be on the court at the same time as Tate, rather than giving minutes and experience to our talented freshman then that's on you. I dont

Seriously, I am having a hard time figuring out if they are actually coaching or just saying things. Our offense is give it to one guy for the possession and have him try his best one on one move.

Interesting ... not what I see at all. They are not executing the offense but I know what it is supposed to be.

At least I'm watching this game from my couch. I wasted a Saturday to watch this garbage over the weekend. My trips to Champaign are over for the time being. I don't mind losing, but this just embarrassing.

Amen. Came home from Nebraska game and stubhubbed my Iowa tickets. Downsized from season tix last couple years to a mini plan this year. SFC going to have a lot of empty seats I'm afraid.

I was in school during the Kruger years. That 98-99 season was tough, but at least the team fought and you knew help was on the way. I'm just not seeing it this time around.

Stop in Zorbas, have a couple gyros, piece of baklava, a couple beers...makes the trip worth it!

Seen this movie to many times. Dig a big hole, come out hard the second half, play better, make a few runs, cut the lead in half, loose by the same margin you were down at half time.

I'm sure everybody knows being seasons 60 percent over, but we just HAVE to score 80 or more a game to win. They finally start missing threes but there's the rebounding and put backs and fouls because we can't guard them or move them around the basket.

Tate made like 4 bad plays in 2 min.

Hill and Nunn should take every shot and then we pray.

So you can be on here but not regular ESPN.com or fighingillini.com and be on the box score page? Not that I don't want you and others here by any means. Just when I am driving, I have ESPN box on my phone watching play by play.

Down 17 at half. Horrible finish once we pulled within a point. Malcolm only player that showed up. No offensive movement, just one on one. Defense is pretty pathetic. Not good.

I want Dan Dakich as our coach. Every time he calls our games he correctly points out all of the things we do wrong and doesn't hold back. Tirico tried to lay the injury excuse out there and Dakich said yeah, but you have to have some organization and roles. And then he said my favorite quote of the whole half: "there is no structure to this offense." :thumb:

Dakich gets it and I'm afraid that I'm coming to the conclusion that our coaching staff just doesn't because it's the same issues every single game.

Oh well, I wonder what's on the other channels?..... :tsk:
