Wow, glad to have that one over, it has been the best week for Illini sports in a long time but that one put a little damper on it.

Whew. Tough season...should be glad its over, but I'm still gonna miss it for the next several months.

Rest up fellas. Hit the S&C program, stay eligible, do some recruiting. Let's put this one in the rearview mirror and look forward to 2016-2017.

Oh well, this one was never a game. You could tell early they didn't have the same crispness as the last two games.

Glad to have this season over. I am looking forward to next year.

Welp. Season's over. I think next year might be pretty fun.

Side note: Do we think anyone leaves the team early this year?

Tough year, laddies and lasses. Next year will be year of devotion #46 for me. Hoping better days are ahead, sometime before I'm drooling in my oatmeal. Keep calm and carry on. Go Illini.

Yes! Please be good citizens. LB, do whatever it is you need to do to be on this team next year!

Thank God that game and the season is over. I'm already looking forward to next season. We won't have to worry about the home away from home (Springfield) nightmare and maybe we can be at full strength for at least part of the season next year.
The team battled all year, just were out-manned many times. We're going to be alright.

Tough year. In some ways it is easier when they are so bad that there is no NIT. I really have a hard time trying to watch Illinois in the NIT.

I truly believe good times are ahead. Next year's team should be much improved.

I don't know, 2011-12 may have had a couple more wins, but we were healthy, had a couple serviceable pg's, and a lottery pick center.
Agree with this assessment. This year's team had some pretty valid reasons in my opinion for their overall poor performance.
