was just coming to suggest this exact thing actually. he'd be a perfect guy to have on staff for a year until Dee is ready :)

realistically he probably won't be out of a HC job long. will land a power 5 gig

Archie Miller and Gregg Marshall would probably be your Shaka and Stevens equivalents at the moment.

FF around the corner, lots of jockeying there. Small schools looking for a big name or P5 schools looking for an out of work HC as an asst. He will find work no problem. Probably won't have all the perks he enjoys with T Boone Perkins help but he will find work

Oh he'll find work for sure, but I doubt he gets another Power Five HC gig. He has looked out of his depth as the Big 12 level.

Didn't follow them closely. I thought Dawkins was purported to be a good recruiter. Was he just not a good enough coach?

Haha, well I never knew about that, but, A son deciding 18 years straight is enough time with Dad and wants to learn from someone else isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Did anyone catch the "Second Half" on B&B today? Bernstein said Whitman has two coaches targeted and both are still coaching in the tournament. He will try to pitch those two guys, if he can't get one of those two Groce be back next year. Any ideas who those two guys could be??
