have to imagine Underwood will be a hot candidate for any openings. that record at SFA doesn't lie. I'd imagine the KSU faithful would love having a Frank Martin understudy, going off of how sad they were when he left

going to go checkout one of my favorite forums, emaw, and see what they're saying

edit: they want him, but apparently theres good info out there that he's going to OkSt by the end of the week

OkSt also has a lot of money to splash around so this would make sense.

That was a heck of a buyout they just paid to fire Ford. I know everyone thinks Pickens has money to burn but at some point paying all that money on college sports has to make a dent on his bank account. Is he as well off as Kahn is? I know he is an oil man and the oil prices haven't been good to him lately. Just curious.

Yikes. Things could get bad if there is anyway to tie Cuonzo to this. I really hope he didn't do anything wrong. I have always been a Cuonzo fan.

After 7 months of investigation one would think that Zo's name would be more in the news if they suspected anything. My take is that the assts spend the time with recruits. Relationships are fostered and cemented through the assts Maybe he is feeling the loss of a favored recruiter/asst. and putting it out there. I just don't see Cuonzo in that light.

I know he fell just short today, but Brad Underwood is rumored to hold K-State as his dream job. How does K-State not consider letting Weber go and snagging up Underwood? Being in Kansas, one thing I know is K-State is loaded with $$$$

Two words: John Currie

with ron baker and fred van vleet leaving, does he have any good prospects coming in? if not, right now could be his best chance to make a bigger jump...assuming he even wants to.

Markis Mcduffie was a nice get for him last year, played almost 20 mpg as a true frosh. Their incoming guys for next year are a sg with almost no other d1 offers and a couple of juco kids and they lose baker, van vleet and wessel who all 3 led the team in minutes. it could be a good time to jump if he really wanted to, and I think Illinois should throw a hell of an offer at him and see if he bites.

All fluids are viscous. I think recruiting's fluid like a nice engine oil: not too sticky to be turbulent, but slow-moving enough to frustrate.

And after a relatively short time, it's very dirty.
