Eastern is a 2/3. Illinois has Williams (1/2) and Pickett (2/3) already committed with Goodwin (2/3) as a main target. Add in JCL, Jordan, DJ Williams and you can see why Eastern may want to go elsewhere.

I have not seen Eastern yet since coming back from injury, but he is very similar to Williams as far as positions, so if Williams is 1/2 so is Eastern. Both will try to make the transition to PG in college, and should be able to, but currently more of SG types.

Before, I thought you may have mentioned 4/21, but Wednesday is 4/20. Hmmm.

They are also chasing another unsigned highly ranked 2016 center/PF...Jarret Allen.

Yes, and although he isn't on that link, I think I also saw they had an offer out to Marques Bolden. I haven't heard if Meeks is coming back next year yet or not, but point is UNC has a few other irons in the fire that are higher or on the level on Tilmon; so not sure where he falls on the priority.

Charlie Moore has heard from Oklahoma St, St. Louis, VCU, California, Missouri, Purdue, Alabama, Arkansas and the 6 reported last week.

Charlie Moore has heard from 15-20 schools so far. List on the way. Nothing yet from Illinois.

Charlie Moore and Jordan Goodwin both honorable mentions on Max-Preps' All-American Team http://t.maxpreps.com/1VNBFuD

so i guess everybody on both sides of the Charlie Moore debate can simmer down.
Dangit.

Per Charlie Moore, for those keeping score the six from last Friday were Wisconsin, Northwestern, DePaul, Georgia Tech, SMU and Miami.

Ha! I don't like interacting with recruits on Twitter, but when I responded to a media RT of his announcement that Illinois backed off recruitment due to some attitude issues in defense to why Illinois can't keep talent in-state, I got a response from him and Pete Rako (dad? Big bro? Not sure). Definitely defensive to the accusation. And Pete Rako tweeted happiness and glee re: Schwarber injury.

I don't think I would have wanted anything to do with the Rako family.

Too many stars. If he were to commit to UoI, they could take as many as they want, he would still have 5.

Courtside doesn't work for me on IE either. Not sure what the problem is.

MOB needs to learn how to count...6 reported last week plus the 8 he just reported = 15-20 schools!

Since when? Most, if not all, articles and recruiting sites list him as a PG. And didn't he play PG when he went to the USA basketball camp?

Just read recently that he was growing into a three. I saw him this year and he did not play the point. Played a lot near the hoop.

Heck, I'm a Cardinal fan and I hated to hear that news. Anybody that celebrates injuries for anyone has their priorities screwed up.

And he did so last week at Swish and Dish. Meanstreets is going to be a load this spring/summer if Bowen is joining them. Verge, Gilyard, Eastern, and Bowen.

I'm a Cardinals fan, too. My heart broke for that injury, just as much as Dudek's consecutive ACL.

Rako family is not one we want in our program, especially in light of off the court issues.
