If we play small ball and they dont have a true big man at the 4, absolutely.

That was a terrible half of basketball for both teams. NC State is putrid, and yet somehow we are worse.

Luckily NCState does many of the dumb thing we do. Won't see it, but probably a good team to put DJ, Hill, Black, JCL and Abrams/TJL. Looking a little slow with Thorne and Mav in there.

it might be better for him, but Black needs to be in the game, maybe Hill needs to sit and watch for a while and get back to playing like he wsa at first. He is a very good player when he just lets the game come to him, but when he starts trying to force things his game really drops off

Numbers even out, we win by 5-10 points, and it's still leaves a lot of questions about our game preparation.

If you would've said NC state was shooting 54 percent and Illinois 34 percent, even with 13 to's, and only down 1, I'd take it. But both teams stunk up the joint in a big way.

Not necessarily, what I would love to see is him play the 3 in a competent offensive system. That would be nice. I've been keeping an eye on him and he's seeing plays develop poorly on the perimeter early in the shot clock and you can see animated frustration.
