NC State might be pretty good by the end of the season but I agree with everything else. We needed this win desperately. Kind of cool to see us score 88 points even with some big scoring droughts.
Made us proud this time, go Illini!! VCU, you're next!!!

If this isn't a wake up call to not play Tate then I don't know what to say. I am sure Tate is a great kid but he is not a starting PG in the Big ten.

Nice game again by Black. It looks like he will be a solid piece this year. Abrams really took the two years to improve his shot. He is night and day.

Nice to get a win, but man is NC St bad. Oh, play of the game goes to Whitman for benching Tate at the half.
Got great mileage from Thorne picking up some fouls on NCST early in the second half. But we still look a little slow at times. With some of these match ups I would like to see a quicker line up.

Tale of 2 halves. Play more like the 2nd half more often and we're going to win more games. Didn't turn the ball over, moved the ball better, shot better because of it, rebounded well, played the best players.
