HoJo - First thing that comes to my mind is Howard Johnsons. Anyone know where his nickname comes from?

I believe you are referring to Watkins? I thought it's his his middle name starts with J as in Howard J. Watkins. I could be wrong.

Big wide outs are trendy too! I don't care where they put him as long as it's first and ten Illini

+1

Illiniboard crew has been noting that with Dorsey also. He certainly has the frame for it. He's a little bit taller and a little beat leaner at the same timeframe but could be in the Jeff Cumberland mold eventually as his ceiling?

Doresy is a te all day. If the staff puts him at wr that is bad mistake.

Joel Goodson

respect my decision™
A 6'6" 240# receiver, with good speed, should be able to wreak havoc on defenses. If he ends up being an so-so blocker, so be it. They can land a blocking TE. Problem solved.

Does your secret Santa where a headdress and dance in the pale moonlight at the at Memorial stadium every Saturday night from September to December. Now that would be a present!

Florida state made another Florida d end a priory over Carney.

On top of all of Carneys work out videos he's in ILLINI gear.....

I think he likes his possibility of starting day one or at least contributing day one.....

To seal it he's got carmoni his friend going there

Dorsey is also a hooper too...if we can mold him and Holcombe and have two Cumberland types on the field would be amazing....

Seems to me they are trying to recruit over the talent from last year

He's definitely a TE. Good speed for a TE, an okay blocker, Good frame with plenty of room to add weight. I think he'd be a great addition.

Folks, when recruits announce their commitments, they will likely include the word 'committed' somewhere in the post. Sharing the various graphics from the staff or from fans is just to get love on social media or indicate to those watching who is recruiting them. Kendrick Green and Dorsey posting these edits/short videos is just standard fare

Difference is, Lovie (and his group) can coach. Zooker couldn't.

There was a post a long time ago showing number of players in NFL & past winning % of different colleges...we had 2 more former players in the NFL that second on the list (IIRC, 2 was Miss. State) & led in worst winning % as well...thought this summed up the Zook years pretty well...doing the least with the most.

I loved the guy, he cared about his players and the University, but I had just never seen a coach seem so out of his element coaching until Zook came along. It was like watching my 6-year-old son playing NCAA football on the PS2.

Yeah I don't think that was a commitment, but there was also an article on one of the sites recently where he said we were the clear leader, so I think we have a pretty good shot with him.

I dunno with the one button mode in recent EA games I bet your six year old could wreck shop.
