Is it me, or does it seem like Maverick Morgan always hesitates when he gets the ball in the post, like he's thinking what move he should make?

1st half: Illinois team we expected all year

2nd half: Illinois team we saw play against WVU, end of Winthrop game, and Maryland.

Illini on offense and the ball doesn't go below the free throw line until only 6 seconds left on the shot clock...

4 on Hill.

JCL for 3 with about 8 left on shot clock... ball didn't go below the free throw line that whole possession...

Both teams really need this game come March... Illinois probably moreso than OSU.

Gotta come away with a W here boys.

Assuming we hold on for the win, how am I supposed to feel about this game? Excited for the play of the first half or depressed over the play of the second?

I know mav is bad on defense, but he was pretty effective on offense.

Was it an adjustment by Thad at half or was it by design for the Illini to walk it up the floor? First half lots of movement, good passing very unselfish. Second half no movement, not a lot of sharing the ball. Regression into same bad habits after half or are we getting out coached or just fail to adjust to their adjustments. I can't figure out this team or any Illini team in the last 5 years.
