Big win!! Black is so important to have in there the whole game for rebounds...

Good win boys. Big ten wins are all well deserved. Tune out the pessimists.

Still don't understand why Black was playing offense only on offense/defense swithch at the end. Also, why ball was going to Abrams who was shooting less than 50% ft for the game.

Great win! I like how Malcolm said I am going to drive until you stop me. 15 boards for Black is huge. Overall good team effort

Critical get there and nice response from poor effort the other night. Offense so much better when they move ball. Were getting stagnant when focusing on feeding Hill. Big threes by Finke and Coleman Lands opened it up for Hill to finish. Enjoy it and on to next one. Could be a really unpredictable year in Big Ten and college buckets.

Well. It sure was nice to see the guys take some body blows and be able to stay mentally strong and finish the game. We came up with a lot of the contested balls which is a good sign of really competing.

I have a feeling there are a lot of OSU fans who share similar sentiments about their team. Good win, just have to pile up enough to get over 500, AND avoid those crushing blowouts!

Because we're not well coached

Leron is a beast when he stays out of foul trouble !!

JCL played some decent defense tonight. Kept his head in the game even while he was being smothered by osu defenders. Then came up big at the end.

This game also showed why Black has to be on the court.

Really happy for the guys and for the coach. Bottom line, lots of Illini veterans that I want to see finish strong. We have enough pieces to this squad to get a bid.

I would love to see these guys scratch, claw, and scrape their way to the NCAA bid somehow. It all starts with a win like this. Gotta build on it and win some that are unexpected. BUT... what I fear the most is that we hand any good wins away by losing games we can't afford to lose. I'll be watching with trepidation every time we play a "we should win this one" game.

Good win. Still don't understand why TJL doesn't at least get 5-10 minutes. Doesn't make sense to me.

Well after watching the beat down at Maryland, I thought we would lose this one by ten. I'm glad to be wrong.

I don't think either OSU or the Illini are going far this year.

]Coleman-Lands with clutch three. Then clutch[/B] free throws. Clutch!

And his double down to get the ball out of Lyle's hands at about the 4:00 was
huge.

Hard to give up a double-digit lead and fall behind and still have enough will to win the game. Great fight.

Much needed win! The groce goose hasn't completely cooked yet.
