Ya, as much as I hate to say it, I think Kansas will go pretty far. Their guard play with Mason and Graham is phenomenal and experienced. Maybe the best duo in college basketball. They will have trouble with bigger teams, such as Purdue though.

Those are both examples of using us as a steppingstone.
They are doing their job, they work for Kansas. Kansas recruits top players, if a kid happens to be in Illinois, they will recruit him. Self is not the only KU coach who recruited Illinois, and other big name programs (e.g., Duke, UK, etc.) regularly recruit the state. Currently, KU has no kids from Illinois, not because they do not want to recruit against us.
If for example Cuonzo Martin becomes the next coach, should he avoid to recruit highly ranked kids from Indiana or other recruits that Purdue would be after? It's a business.
I don't understand the issues people had with Self. I have no issues with Self. I root for his team sometimes.
I hate Kansas so I would never root for them but NOW I have no problem with Self.
When he left I was irrationally angry that he left us and rooted against him(because I knew he was darned good) but as time goes by I really respect what he was here.
Kinda like Albert Pujols as a Cardinals fan

If they don't have the record to make it in to the NCAA tournament, I'd still pick them to win the Big Ten Tournament. And then do something absurdo like go to the Elite Eight.
How do you root for Kansas? There are just certain teams you don't root for, aka the evil teams who get all the 5 stars(Kentucky, Kansas, UNC, Duke) and then others like Indiana. That and the fact that Jerrance Howard keeps stealing recruits from our areas and using questionable recruiting tactics. I don't get it.

They've come all the way back after being down 20. Wish our team had that much heart.
Even if Kansas St. doesn't win, what an effort by Weber's squad to come back down by 20 on the road and even grabbed the lead for a brief moment. When you look at KSU's team, there's no one that is a major star, just a bunch of quality players who know their roles and play them well. I'm impressed.

The silver lining to this K-State season that's driving us all nuts: I'm so happy for Chester Frazier.
