Nothing to say about spitting the bit against Winthrop but that PSU team is getting better and has some playmakers. Not an embarassment that it used to be. The upper tier of the Big Ten is down but the lower teams are getting better. Need to keep winning. Sets table for next year if nothing more. Always better to have guys feeling good about themselves heading into off season. For now, keep getting after it and keep developing the young guys.

A very injury ridden MSU team at home and on the road at Rutgers.
Start dreaming of the final 3 gets you to 19. I think you would then need to get to Saturday of the BIG tourney to really watch Selection Sunday with some hope.
A lot has to happen between now and then but I gotta admit, it's nice to at least be able to look at a possible path.

Probably need to make it to Saturday, but it doesn't seem totally crazy right now.
I hate that we have 3 games left and have finally settled on some rotations. I liked all the tick TJL had in the 2nd half. Our defense is so much better with him in the game.

The bubble is going to be extremely tight this year. Numerous teams slated to be in the tourney now already have 10 losses and I even believe there is a 12 loss team. I can imagine some of those will lose a couple more down the stretch. If we win the remaining schedule and get two tourney wins, our strength of schedule, number of top 50 rpi wins, and no bad losses will help our resume tremendously.

Wont be easy as that team has a lot of guys that attack the hoop. No easy games in Big Ten.

Well we have a chance to maybe get something done. I would love to see this team win out, finish .500 in the Big. Win a couple in the conference tournament, might have a chance to get in the Dance. I really hope we can pull off 3 straight wins.
Groce has many flaws and I'd prefer him to be gone but I will credit him that this team is battling. That is a testament to his ability to connect with his team.
