Talen? I'll bet you a beach house on that. He's already got offers from Northwestern, Arizona State, Iowa State and Missouri. He's improved dramatically from that video. Here's one from January which features him and Ayo and their co-horts from Simeon and MP.

Would rather BU go after Olivier Sarr...a WF lean as of now. Looking for high end education and typicall Euro type player...fits the system

Not saying we'll go after him --or should-- but if he keeps improving like he has this season he'll play high d1 somewhere -- and in the B1G wouldn't surprise me.
Here he's included with the prime prospects this weekend with the likes of Finke, Joey Hauser, Ramey, Garland and others.

FINAL 17U - MAC IRVIN FIRE 65- Ramey Jets United (Adidas) 58 - Talen Horton TUcker 24 PTS
Fire just loves beating Adidas teams.

bummer for SIU:
Uplift 2017 shooting guard Demarius Jacobs tells PHI that he has decommitted from Southern Illinois. The guard and his family are now looking to attend prep school next season to get his academics in order for college.

I am a big fan of THT as well. He already has college strengh and is an above average passer and a good shooter and defender.

The biggest question is what position would he play in college at 6'5? And is he still growing?

What's Izzo's guard situation? I have to imagine he's going to be at least as deep as this:

Coleman-Lands
Jordan
Lucas
Frazier
Pickett

Michigan State still has a good shot at three top-flight guards/wings (Blake Harris, Brian Bowen, and Mark Smith), but right now they already have:

Tum-Tum Nairn (pure point)
Cassius Winston (pure point)
Matt McQuaid (off guard)
Joshua Langford (2/3)
Miles Bridges (3/4)
Kyle Ahrens (3)

If Bridges goes pro and they whiff on Brian Bowen (long considered a MSU lock but now more of a question mark), they'll need some help on the wing. Ahrens isn't really a B1G player and McQuaid isn't really a B1G starter.

Am I the only person on this forum that views Kipper more of a 6"6 forward/4 man kind of like how Roger Powell was instead of a 3? Especially if Smith comes and we have that depth at guard.

No you aren't. He's not a guard at the college level. He's a 3 that can play the 4 at times.

This might be kind of an annoying post for those of you who follow recruiting religiously, but my dad and I were talking about this the other day: We have traditionally actually fended off Izzo pretty well instate, right? I know the first famous example was him swiping Shannon Brown from us, but didn't we beat them out for Pruitt and even some recruits in the Weber era? My memory is super foggy, and it would be interesting to hear some history of us recruiting against them. :thumb:
