Mark Alstork transfers to Illinois

[The Galloping Ghost]

This is such a needed transfer. He should start next season.

Good, 2 spots down! Is Mikyle next, I hope?!?!?

[Adnarel]

[IlliniKid]

Never a doubt!

[1m4tr]

Wow great get.

[UofIChE06]

Two targets down, two to go.... hopefully they can reel in some bigs now.

[IlliniinIowa]

Ahh...the good news I've been hoping for!!

[BDoug]

Said it before and I'll say it again -- this was the transfer I most coveted. He's going to be an impact player at Illinois.

Hope you stay, JCL!!!! This team could be very exciting and you're gonna be a HUGE part of it!

[BLloyd2311]

Did he make 1st team in his conference last season?

[Adnarel]

Thanks for putting in a good word for us, MLT.

[roger murdock]

How long til practice starts ?? Pumped !

[SampsonRelpenk]

Still watching his live video on Instagram. He says he'll be in Champaign late July.

[whatahack]

It's Illinois or you can ban me

SFC....you da man!!!

[Orangetool]

Need a big now.

Yes

[illinipeoria]

Great get! Maybe we'll see an alley-oop or two, for once.

[IlliniinIowa]

This would explain why JCL is considering transferring. Makes much more sense now

Always plenty of room on the floor for elite shooters. Hope and pray JCL stays!!

Any chance we get to hear 1/2 hour or so from the Edwardsville athletic director first?

Now that's funny

Great news!

I haven't really been following this one all this much because it all seemed like we were long shots, but what is the strongest part of his game? Is he a shooter or a get to the rim kind of player?

Gotta think LaTulip had to have helped here.

I have a feeling we will see more dunks this year then in the last 3 combined , and more blocks as well.

He can score the ball in about every way possible.
