Yeah, but with the refs it wasn't just what they were calling, like Bardo kept trying to preach. Many of the calls were just wrong/bad. Both ways. So far, I'm really liking the effort level and style of play here. Looking to be as advertised...

Our freshmen look awesome out there.

Mark Smith=self explanatory
Frazier=The kid has swagger
Williams=I love the way he came back even after fouls/turnovers against him. Typically younger players will "shell up" after that.

I worry about Alstork. He was projected to be the one to carry this team, to be our leader scorer, etc. He seems a little lost and very hesitant out there, seems like a confidence issue.

If Alstork can regress to his mean, we might have a pretty darn good team this year.

Im curious how Smith goes for a career high 21 pts and then Bardo interviews Kipper.......I thought Smith did what Smith does......

I thought it was a pretty big message to see Alstork on the bench down the stretch. That wouldn't have happened a year ago. I still think Alstork will become a big part of this team, but it's good to see that BU has no problem with sitting an upperclassmen.

I'm glad we won, but that game was absolutely ruined by the officiating. The NCAA needs to take a long look at their rules and how they effect game-flow. As a neutral, who would watch that garbage?

I agree. I live in an area that is ruled by football (SEC football) and many people around here don't realize that other sports exist (maybe baseball). I tell a lot of people every day/week that basketball is a great game and that they should watch/try to understand it better. If the refs are going to call the games this way, people around here will hate basketball even more. End result? They will never be fans of the game... The way that this game was called tonight isn't basketball. I'm not sure what it is, but it's not basketball. This season will be hard to watch if all games are called this way...:tsk:

Again Alstork is a good player but Im still saying these freshman: Williams/Frazier and Smith are down right hungry and super talented....
