Isn't it a bit late to give him a ship for this semester? That would likely involve the U refunding money to him. As for next semester, there is no reason to decide before January.

Via 247, Kipper committed the 12th of Nov.

If you look at the guards in the 80's, I think they would have a pretty good argument that they were better. Especially if you count Anderson, like Luther, as a guard. Loved all of them.

What else would you count Luther as? Just wondering, as it doesn't really matter, both teams were awesome.

Iwe are missing an athletic big but I think Finke and Black are going to answer the challenges night in and night out but both need buckets to go early to get them going....

I hope you are right. And forgive me if I'm wrong, but even going back into last year, Black seemed to always make our first basket or two. Hopefully the trend continues and he can just keep the rhythm going throughout the game from now on (as he has been doing).

What are the odds of 2 "intriguing midseason transfers popping up"?

Yeah, it's definitely not good, but we've sure had some awesome fortune regarding long shot scenarios since Whitman took over... Lovie, Underwood, Antigua, Mark Smith blossoming into Mr. Basketball, our first five star in 8 years. Kids get disgruntled midseason all the time.

When did he enroll? If it was January, would the commitment of the ship for the first semester have made any difference to his ability to commit?

Big picture I tend to agree with this. But I think right now because of where the program has been and BU taking us in the right direction, this is an important game. We can talk all we want on here about understanding where this thing is going with a good coach ect....but for in state media to get on board with things, we need to win. Take care of business, and they will love us again.

again, no win situation. If we win, the media will not be on board because of that win.

Lose? Media will have a field day. . .

I'm watching the progression of the B10 schools and waiting....(saw Northwestern lose last night). We are not talking about the B10 with the Fab 5 and the Flying Illini where there was a clear cut B10 Powerehouse running the conference

NW should have got beat pretty bad, but kept getting let back in the game. Having watched the same teams as you plus a couple other BIG10 teams, I would put us right about in the middle. Yes I think we can beat any of them, but just as easy to get beat by them all as well

I'm really not sure what the last part of this meant neither the fab 5 or the Flying Illini was a clear cut B10 Powerhouse

Just like I wrote it the Fab Five and the Flyin Illini were predicted to be final four teams and they were. When they showed up to play anyone B10 and any conference they were the hands down favorite...

Question, does anyone think that AJ seems a bit out of control, I mean handling the ball, and lack of balance? As I watch, I noticed that, does it seem that way to anyone else? Think AJ is playing great, just get nervous when he handles ball in tight spots. Hope he continues his playing aggressively. ;) :illinois:

Yes. I think many times when he tried to drive, he almost fell down. He passed the ball out in time though. In one previous game he assisted a 3pt when after falling down (in one of Dan's gifs). I think he should keep trying if there is a chance. He's 210 pounds and should be able to power through many opponents even if he's handling is not there yet.

I think we have serious chance to be better than Maryland, Wisc, Neb, Penn St, Iowa, NW, tOSU, IU, Rugters after looking at early season performance. That's no.5 isn't it:D
