A number of pretty good games today if you have had enough football.
Arizona vs SMU in the Bahamas, 8:30 Central on ESPN 3
Arkansas vs Oklahoma in Portland at 4:00 Central, ESPN2
Butler vs Texas, in Portland at 7:00, ESPN2 (not same portland location, so the time gap, which looks weird otherwise, should work)
Tennessee vs 'Nova at 11:30 from the Bahamas, ESPN
Rhode Island vs Seton Hall, Brooklyn, 5:00 pm on EsPNU
UVA vs Vandy, Brooklyn, 3:00 on ESPNU
tOSU vs the Zags, Portland, 11:00 am on ESPN2

And there are more, these are just the ones that Ken Pom highlighted for me as the tops. Unfortunately for me, I'll be where these are not on :hand:

Watching Tilmon for the first time this year and I'm already sighing over what could have been with a class including Tilmon, Smith, TF, and DaMonte. Add in Ayo a year from now and that team could have beat anyone in the Big Ten. No reason to cry over spilled milk I know but man...

Is it his 4.25 fouls a game that has you sighing? :thumb:

In all seriousness, I don't think he is as good as we all thought he would be but he would definitely be a help in the paint if he had stayed.

Every Freshman big is going to struggle with fouls, especially with the way college is being officiated this year. He's averaging 9 and 4 in 15 mpg. He's a monster if he can learn to play without fouling. I know everyone wanted him to be overrated but that doesn't appear to be the case. I'd still rather have BU and the class without Tilmon than have Groce underachieve with a great class.

Meh... Underwood didn't try hard enough.

I wish BU would have put on a full court press as soon as he took over. I also understand laying off, starting fresh here, and getting out of that situation because it did appear it was getting kind of messy.

In the immortal words of coach Norman Dale, "My team is on the court".

I'm honestly not sure Tilmon would have stayed even HAD Underwood put the full court press on him.

That is a BIG "if" right now.

We will see how he does once the competition goes up. They have been playing mediocre teams so far. Let's revisit it in about a month and then on into the SEC season.

Watching the Portland-NC game....listening to Bill Walton...he's talking about how North Carolina is one of the great academic institutions around the country...GMAFB.....maybe they offer some of the best bogus classes around....How does any network think that Walton is a good hire to do college basketball games???? LMAO

When Martin came to see him he offered more than what BU could.
Also being part of a top flight recruiting class with the Porters looked like a no brainer to sign up.
Can’t dwell on what could have been, the futures starting to look very bright on the recruiting trail for the O ‘n’ B.

Walton is such a tool. He makes some good games unwatchable.
