Yup, if you get his '019 top 75 brother (The Show) to decommit from Kansas and join him in C/U. That's how these things work. Who was our last brother combination??

I'm actually not blown away by Demetrius and wouldn't be surprised if he didn't end up with Kansas. He seems like a strong, athletic, undersized guard in the mold of Sherron Collins only he never learned to shoot.

When's the last time we actually stole a player away from Kansas? Usually it's the other way around, no?

Kansas seems to have drawn interest from a couple CPL players only to back off later. Marquise a solid player, a little bit more Bynum than Sherron Collns but those two players do come to mind. So I have had my doubts about this commitment as well.

I agree with the Bynum over Collins comparision, good call on that one. All previous statements in regards to both players being here? Not sure BU would want a guard the size of Marquise in regards to what we have already or is coming in. The brother with size and athleticism is another story.

Up to 4 crystal balls for Jacobs including one from Werner. Has to make you think a commitment is coming soon as I don’t think he typically crystal balls.

Courtney Ramey would be a huge get for this team. They need another player who can handle the ball and score. Yeah, they need a big man, but this kid would help out with the pressing defense and scoring.

Henricksen was pretty high on Jacobs back when he was a '17 prep prospect. If he added him to Ayo then between him, Ayo and Trent we would have at least three players who can get to the rack almost at will. He would definitely be an athletic upgrade over what we have now and can get blocks and steals. Still need an outside shooter and big man, though.

Jacobs' athleticism is great. If he was 6' 5-6", I'd be pretty thrilled with the offer.

I'll go one additional step. He's more athletic than anybody on our roster currently. I'm not a believer in recruiting people based on highlight reels, but dang......this kid has hops and a real attack mentality.

If he was 6'6, he'd be a 5* recruit. As is, he seems like he'd give us some energy and depth in the backcourt.

I'll trust Underwood on this one. A 6'2 guard isn't really what we need right now, but if he brings an attitude that this roster needs -- and chemistry with Ayo -- then that's a good thing.

Forgot that he originally committed to SIU. He has definitely outgrown SIU.

His best offers besides us right now are Arizona State (going after him hard), SLU (lol) and WKU. Utah interested, as well.

Just to be clear Markese Jacobs "The Show" is a Kansas 2019 commit.. He's Demarius' brother.

If this Jacob kid is #333, all it takes to figure out if he is a better fit is to see where the players on this team are.

Also, why are we letting go on Jones, etc? why can we not sign 4/5 kids?
