Figured we needed to highlight Friday night contests

6:00 5 Clemson v 1 Kansas CBS
6:20 5 WVU v 1 Villanova TBS
8:30 11 Syracuse v 2 Duke CBS
8:45 3 Texas Tech v 2 Purdue TBS

All times are CT (unless I messed up )

No SEC teams left. Huh, what do you know? GO PURDUE! GO SYRACUSE! The others, meh.

Pulling for Clemson, WVU, Syracuse, and Purdue! I'd say 50% odds I'm wrong on all 4!

Am I the only one that kind of hates that I want a Huggins team to do well?

I definitely don't hate. Those guys play hard and he keeps it real.

Also very funny at coaching clinics despite not teaching much. Just rambles and tells a bunch of stories.

And, I'm not allowed to coach in a track suit at the high school level, so I got nothing but love for a guy who bucks everybody and does it at the high major level.

I think that WVU/Nova game has a chance to be epic

Yep. That pressure defense against really, really outstanding Villanova guards. And Villanova defends well, too.

When the brackets came out, I circled WV as the biggest stumbling block to Villanova getting to the Final Four.

I think Villanova will torch them. But West Virginia will be back next year. Jevon Carter has only used 37 of his 64 years of eligibility.

I'd laugh if all season people crapped on the B1G and then 25% of the Elite 8 was from the B1G.

Hey that Brunson kid is pretty good. Why didn't we recruit him????

Was hoping to see Clemson compete against Kansas, looks like a good ol salad tossing in the making from Bill Self.

This is off topic, but peculiarly 4 years to the day. We lost by a point to Clemson in the NIT. I remember watching this game thinking good things would come the following year...

Interesting you brought that NIT game up, I was there at a packed Littlejohn Coliseum on that Sunday morning. If Tracy hadn't missed the last shot, we might have gone quite a bit farther in the tournament, but it wasn't meant to be, and that was Tracy's last game before incurring all kinds of knee and heel injuries.

I was there too. The end of that game was when I realized John Groce wasn't going to be fondly remembered as an Illini coach.
