team is starting to settle in - unfortunately we gave up a 10 point deficit before doing so

Tyler Underwood should never, ever, ever see the court. This is not ok.

One thing that frustrates about this team is we rely heavily on taking charges. To me that’s a terrible strategy. It’s a 50/50 call most of the times with refs. And we tend to give up a lot of and 1’s that way.

I don't know enough about Tyler Underwood, but in all honesty, would he ever see the floor in non garbage time at any P5 school where is father is not the coach?

How many years do we have to suffer this Illinois program not being ready to play come game time?? Why can’t we be the team up 12-2?
Because when we are up 12-2 we give up 18-0 runs. So it doesn’t matter either way.

Same question Iowa fans were asking 10 years ago when Todd Lickliter was burning down their program and his son was playing. Underwood needs 7 B10 wins this year to match Lickliter’s 2 year total. Some similarities?

How many turnovers will we have today from that stupid predictable handoff? Already at 2
We've started to run the weave out front, then the cut to the basket - hopefully we give up on that stupid handoff which never gets anything.

Well, maybe try that play some more.

Offensive wrinkles!!!

I'm losing my enthusiasm for Illinois basketball. I think this will be the worst team in the last 25 years.

I have no idea why we would ever throw a lob to Jordan...that said, Ayos pass was terrible

Yeah, i'm going to make grilled cheese.

This defense simply doesn’t work. We don’t have the length or athlete for it to work consistently
