Our offense is so anemic. Continually asking McCourt to kick 50-yarders is not a game plan.

this and depending heavily on defensive takeaways is tough football to watch

Step off the ledge people. It’s a combination of the injuries, weather, and Northwestern probably looking at this as the biggest game of their season. A loss here doesn’t mean our other wins were meaningless. That being said, a loss here would really suck. Game is far from over though.

Well of course it's their most important game of the season, it's their last chance at a conference win

No kidding. Given where that hit on the right upright you would have assumed it was kicked from 30 yards.

That's what made me comment on it. Needed to go back to make sure it was actually a 50 yard attempt.
