Utah transfer Both Gach has long list of high majors after him

Both Gach entered the NCAA Transfer Portal on Monday, and the calls began to pour in for the now former Utah perimeter standout.

Since officially landing in the portal, Gach, a 6-foot-6 wing out of Austin, Minn., has heard from Minnesota, Arkansas, Nevada, BYU, Utah State, Auburn, Maryland, Vanderbilt, Creighton, Illinois, Georgetown, Oregon, New Mexico, DePaul and Texas Tech, a source tells 247Sports.

Gach, a 6-foot-6 wing out of Austin, Minn., had a breakout season for the Utes, averaging 10.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists a game, while shooting nearly 40-percent from the field.

I would take one Gach, but do we have room for Both?

Looks like Juwan Howard is becoming to Underwood like Bill Self was to Bruce Weber. He's basically swooping in late to steal all the Illinois recruits

He didn't get Miller and we backed off of Brown. We didn't want Eastern. So who did Howard get that I am missing?

I'm not an insider, but I don't think that's correct about Brown. And I didn't say he's been successful all the time, but it seems like his strategy.

It actually goes back to Belein. It seems like he did that a lot as well: Simpson, Castleton, Brazdeikis, etc.

Not sure this guy qualifies as being selective.

Don’t think this is sour grapes. Believe they have a plan that didn’t include Brown. No insider, just my guess.

Brown told Rivals per a UM forum that he plans on filing the transfer waiver and that he is almost 100% sure he will get it.

Not so much concerned with the recruits BU misses on, always seems to have multiple options. Often don't know who is plan A, unless it is someone like
Kofi, Ayo, Miller

I really like our roster as it stands now with Kofi still in the fold. If Ayo stays, love it. If both Ayo and Michael Foster , top 5.

I think most of us didnt fully absorb previously that the Illini coaching staff had "backed off of Brown".

Yeah...the Belein arranged stop-over to Ann Arbor for Simpson after a Wiscy paid trip to Madison, absolutely steals the cake for bold recruiting.

Really love to have Foster. Missing piece (unless BBV/Hawkins are ready) and size insurance if Kofi doesn’t return. Giorgi would be fine at center if he has size to help him but need more than 6’6”.
