Well that sucked. Illinois didn't deserve to win, but I think the refs ruined the game just with the way they called it thru out. It was a FT contest and Mizzou won it. Key part of the game was Ayo misses 2 FTs, foul on rebound, then Tilmon hit 2. 4 point swing in a close game like that was the ultimate difference.

Ayo was great. Curbelo good. He just brings us so much with playmaking you gotta keep him on the floor. Rest of the guys really didn't stand out. I thought Mizzou's players played harder. They outrebounded us. They got after us.

Credit to Mizzou. They deserved to win.
Illinois played poor enough to lose.
Ref crew shouldn't ref another game. They ruined it

Absolutely atrocious officiating, but when you go 17-28 from the free throw line, you only really have yourself to blame....

This team is great, but they still have things to work on. Imagine if we were firing on all cylinders for an entire game. We'd be championship bound for sure.

Refs clearly decided going on that this one wouldn’t get chippy/physical. That made it a free throw game as much as a basketball game. And we got demolished in the free throw game.

Great game Tigers. We got outplayed (and maybe out-coached a little bit too.) Missouri could not have played much better.
