Not to hate, but bro has 165 points on 152 attempts from the field, including 29 - 81 from 3. 44.7 FG% on the year
Only player on ILL roster with more attempts is Ayo. For Alan to put up that many points on this team, he would be taking away from Demonte and Adam I presume. Demonte is crazy from 3 this year and I prefer to develop a freshman top talent if the production is going to be the same.
Two teams we recently lost to score upsets on road. B10 is a grind this year and our last losses were not "bad" albeit disappointing.
Good point. His overall numbers are up, because his usage is up, but his overall FG% is down about 4 points and his 3P% is down about 6 points. He's much less efficient than he was for us last year. His 3P% is 35.8%, which is worse than DMW, Trent, Miller, Grandison, Ayo - every guard we put out there except Curbelo.
Don't get me wrong, he'd be a great guy to have out there in the type of role he had last season. But he wanted to play more and take more shots, and as a result he appears to he chucking up a lot of lower percentage shots. We wouldn't want him on those terms.

Really don't think that's what I was doing. Been seeing countless posts bemoaning the fact he's not on the team anymore and salivating over his good performances (and he has had some good ones!), so I was offering some perspective. Honestly the first time I've posted about the guy since he left.

As to developing freshmen, I kinda like the 4.6 mpg that Shaun Pruitt got in 2005.
I'm agnostic on Griffin in particular (chemistry, etc I don't know about). But we've long ago rebutted any concerns about "too much" talent. If this team had more talent, we'd be better. And that's more talent at any position.
Thought I heard he had 7 blocks when seeing some highlights. Not sure.
