I think the joy part is what sets this team apart. They so believe in each other, love playing together, and are absolutely relishing this as an opportunity that they have earned. No doubt that this group is locked in on making the most of it.

I guess it's ok to think it's normal to win by 20+ now. Man that was insane. Love seeing these guys with so much confidence. Especially Kofi. He seems to be getting stronger each game. We have NEVER had someone like him at Illinois.

My son was born 5 months after the 05 championship. He keeps telling me, "Dad, I have never seen U of I in the tournament!". He has never seen a consistently good Illini team. Finally, that's all changing.

Has there ever been a player like him on any team....ever? Shaq matched Kofi's size and strength and was even a tad bigger, , but Shaq did not run like Kofi. He did, however, shoot free throws like him.
