For those counting at home, Trent & Damonte wouldn't count against 13 scholarship limit.

But Kofi+Cubelo+Coleman+Grandison+Hutch+BBV+Lieb+Hamlin+Payne+Goode+Podz+Melendez = 12

Miller would be 13. Adding anyone else would require a subtraction from the line above.

45-0 in 1944 with Dolph Stanley as coach. That record will probably not be broken. Apparently in those days, schools would ask other schools for a game in season that wasn’t on the original schedule. Hence 45 games.
We got the way back machine out tonight. Yep, Dolph was the Taylorville coach before he came to Auburn in Rockford. I was playing as a sophomore in his last year at Auburn. Nice guy and a great coach. He left Auburn for Rockford Boylan. Didn't know about 45-0. Cool fact.

Wow, is he still available?

Do you know anything about Jereme Richmond?

And are you going to sit a senior Tisdale for an 18 year old Meyers Leonard?

These aren't rhetorical, by the way.

Jereme Richmond committed to Weber in 2006 when he was a freshman in high school and was generally considered one of the top players in the country and a sure one-and-done.

But by the time he was a senior he was still a great recruit but certainly not on the express train to the NBA.

Sadly, by 2013 he was in prison.

I always wonder what could have been if Richmond had buckled down, put in the work, stayed out of troubled and maximized his potential?

The same for Crandall Head and Kendrick Nunn. And if Carlwell and Jamar Smith hadn't been drinking that night.

Meaning his ranking will be top 40.

I think by year 2 and added weight he could be the better of 3 but think he will struggle a little early just due to weight while other 2 are known as shooters w size.
Melendez is also known as a shooter from deep! Needs to develop mid range more... but the kid is athletic, long, and can shoot it from deep very well!

Kendrick Nunn is a baller and starter on the Miami Heat!

Does anyone else find it odd that Miller is in the portal, yet his Twitter picture is of him after winning the big ten championship and his pinned tweet is still the Do We Have Your Attention after spanking Michigan?

Seems if there were to be a subtraction, the most likely would be Hamlin, perhaps followed by BBV. Those seem to be the only two potentials. It's been made clear that Lieb isn't going anywhere. I believe Kofi will be back after testing the waters. #NotAnInsider

Put the BBV leaving to rest. He I finally ready to contribute and has clearly stated he isn't leaving.

and if only Abe Lincoln hadn't gone the theater that night...

We've had a lot of bad luck. As I've gotten older I start to see how a bad bounce here or a good bounce there can change an entire trajectory.

I imagine many programs struggle because our student-athletes are really just boys, boys put in very difficult situations that they may not have maturity to handle in the public spotlight.

But I do believe things could have been different. Nunn was having a great career at Illinois and trending upward until a legal matter caused him to leave.

Bruce Weber, for all his failings, seems to have had a disproportionate share unfortunate events. Both Brian Carlwell and Jamar Smith showed promise. We will never know...
