How does your Illini room compare to ilphotog's?

Hey ilphotog,

I'd like to ask you a few questions:

How long did it take you to amass such a ridiculous collection?
Were most of the items bought or handed down?
Approximately how much did you spend on your collection?

This is by far the most ridiculous thing I've seen, it is very very impressive. I have like 3 big posters and a few shotglasses but this is just crazy!! I love it!

That is insanely awesome. Wow, your Illini passion should never be questioned by anyone after seeing that. I wish I could do that.

There are at least two old leather helmets. They look authentic. Where did you get them, and do you know who wore them?

Do you replace stuff regularly (cause you have a nice little chunk of stuff from last year's Rose Bowl team) or is there still some open space?

You are my idle. This is my dream area (closet thing to heaven, besides well assembly hall of course, or memorial stadium, you get the idea). I've started my only collection, but due to being 18, and not having my own place, it is very limited. Talk to me in 5 years. Then we will talk...

That room is so Amazing it takes TWO posts. WOW!!!!! What a room. I am Impressed and JEALOUS. Yes, you are my hero as well. No one can ever question your loyalty. The leather helmets, the casket :eek:, all of it. Without even seeing anyone elses's Ill go out on a limb and say YOU WIN.

I noticed one thing missing, ilphotog. You need to add a few jerseys Basketball and football to the mix. Or did I miss them? Oh, and turn your carpeted floor into a hardwood floor replica of The Assembly Hall. I would stroke out after seeing that.
