Hayden little brother to OSU. Was great to get him on campus though. Chase is gonna have a good year for us this fall in spot duty.

Agreed….it will help later when he’s inevitably behind 3 5-stars on the depth chart and looking for somewhere to transfer to. ;)

Geez, now I have to keep up with the football board, too? The BB side is wearing me out....
I usually leave my screen on new posts and refresh the little blue c circle to get fresh posts on all the threads ....kinda cool to not have to go from BB to FB to whatever...It updates new posts quickly....

Build from within. Every other school has been succeeding off of our instate talent. BB is slowly locking the state down. May take a few years but he is off to a great start.

Not gonna happen. That said, our in state forays have been a very bright spot. It is becoming apparent that we're gonna recruit the snot out of the talent in our backyard, and that is soooo refreshing. If we can get a decent percentage of top Illinois preps, the task of becoming a sustainably good program becomes immensely easier.

Great commit. Welcome Mr. Pugh. Thanks.

When I read he is 6'4" I immediately thought of another Illini WR: Walter Young, same height. Yes, Walter lost out to Kurt Kittner as starting QB, but that didn't seem to bother him too much. He did very, very well and had some professional success. Thanks, Walter. Walter could catch the ball. Yeah, run routes well, but catch that ball receivers! Illini have had too many receivers who couldn't. Nothing sadder in football than a well-thrown ball dropped.

Something very good is happening in Champaign, football-wize. (I hope). More Illinois boiz, pleaze.

I love the letter Z; my last name begins with it. Great for a seating chart in grade school (usually last to be called on), but louzy when you're waiting in line alphabetically for eatz!
