My heart says Illinois, but based on the speed of the decision, the interview where he mentions UK and OA, and not taking any visits, my head says UK.
Well hopefully this plays out better than some of the recruitments where they felt good. You would hope Kofi has been open and honest with them because of the relationship and they don't get blindsided.

Well that's great news. And don't pay attention to the peanut gallery if he goes elsewhere and people complain about insiders.
The insight is appreciated. On the one hand this is good news. On the other hand, Brad and Co. have felt pretty good about a lot of things lately that haven't come to fruition. Really hope they're right this time.

How is not taking any visits a bad sign? It means he has limited his official flirtations with other schools. It's not like he was going to take a visit to Illinois, a place he has played and lived for the last two years. That doesn't mean he is coming here. He obviously, for the same reasons, already knows two of Kentucky's assistants extremely well. But it does seem to lend some credence to the idea that it's us or Kentucky.

I saw a supposed Kentucky Insider on Bleacher Report saying that Kofi to Kentucky has been in the works for months and this NIL stuff and decision making time etc is all to distract from a potential tampering case. I hope that's not true and I have no idea if this guy is even remotely honest and reliable.
