How is Boswell an NR (Not Ranked) on 247?
Why would you think that the 247 'experts' would have any real expertise in that? It is subjective, it is influenced by duke, ky, etc. subscribers. Most of the raters appear to me to be failed coaches, wanna bees. Political, shoe company influenced, looking for hits? Hits are the payoff right?

I am hardly in the ratings camp. That said, it's very clear that Boswell is a special talent. The other services have him close to a 5 star. Generally, the ratings are fairly decent for higher ranked kids.

That said, I'm going with our staff's evaluations, every flippin' time.

Nothing personal, I am truly sorry if it came that way. I think it was Rivals, where some writer said that he 'could be the best pg in the class'. Originally from Champaign right?

I'm guessing their individual 2023 rankings haven't been updated in awhile. Could be wrong. Not sure how much updating goes into the classes that are multiple years away from school. It looks like they only have 70 2023 kids ranked, so if his freshman or sophomore year they viewed him as outside top-70 then it makes sense. Got to think he will be in their top-50 sooner than later

Yes. He moved to California when he was 14, IIRC. We definitely have a shot.

It is just really cool to gang up on woodcock, nutt, kedrick, and tate, yet the inamaciders who were real sure Storr would end up at Illinois when he revisited after the assistants left get a pass. Second grade all over again. You don't have to read the commentary.
Agreed, let Nutt have his creative flow, he drops lots of info....some of his takes...no. But are we going to be cancel culture? Not here I hope. Ignore is available but you will miss information friends. Cowboy Up..

They have said numerous times that their ratings are quite a bit wonky for the younger classes because they haven't seen them play yet due to the pandemic. The '22 class is probably pretty accurate now (although not as good as usual). Anything past that and they are playing catch up just like most kids with their development.

We could land both Corhen and Cam come August 28 or we could miss out on both. Better to see both possibilities to avoid disappointment.

I agree that people shouldn't be shut out for saying something unpopular on the board. It's good to have a mix of optimism and pessimism to find ourselves in the middle which tends to be the reality.

Side note - Cancel culture isn't some new phenomenon. Recency bias makes us think it is, but it's gone throughout history.

Meh, if you're going to put up a flippant comment about guys farther down the ratings, maybe expect some blow-back.
