Game Thread: Illinois vs Nebraska

Not important but...
Was that Illinois logo (you know, slant Illinois) that they showed when they cut to commercial drawn on there by a student (or some other person) or imposed by Fox?

This feels all too familiar and that makes me sad.
Absolutely huge to keep this to a fg attempt
I’ll take the field goal, but we desperately need the offense to make some plays.
Need to move the ball here or this could snowball. Nebraska should have had 7 (since the refs are not calling that pick play).

so illini to lose our starting QB in the 1Q of the first game of the year
If that had been Illini running the pick play I guarantee they would have called it.
That is a monster penalty.
He's not in the game right now. That's Sitkowski
Best offensive play since Peters went out.

I know that....I was just commenting on the hit that took him out of the game. I forgot to quote the post above about losing our starting QB

Ah ok. Was not obvious given the timing

I feel for BP, I really do....but a 6 year Sr. has to be WAY better than he has shown getting rid of the ball in the face of pressure.
Fixed!
How did we get 30 yards out of one penalty?
