I've sure been there. Starting at the 2 guard for a top 10 Illinois team back in the 60s, I was undercut and landed on my tailbone. Coach started me the next game when I could barely move...and I sat and watched most of the rest of the season. The reality in restriction and slow recovery is far worse than the injury.
Harv?

Damonte is not having a good game so far, running the point has taken him out of his game seems like.

You can tell Plummer isn’t from the big ten lol your body should be a magnet to ball and floor lol

no flow to our game ....need to run when we get the defensive rebound ...pick up the pace......

Please tell me that DMFW and CoHawk shoes are trolling Iowa?

I see that Coleman will be a beast for us, especially once he becomes more comfortable driving with the ball while also improving his handling. The future is bright. We're deep.

Perspective....DMFW might be our 5th best option at PG? Love the aggressiveness...I can live with the inconsistent offense on a night like this.

Would like to see Hawk put his head down and get to the rack. He's got the length and speed but keeps pulling back his dribble.

'68-'69 team?

Wow. Your tailbone landing on the floor with full bodyweight. That's awful. I had a minor version of that injury in high school. Didn't get it on the court but via touch football. Ten years later it still hurt when the weather got cold and damp. I think I was over 30 before I didn't notice it anymore.

We can change the dynamic of this forum this year. How many seasons have to go by until we realize that these guys are giving all they have every game. If a player or the unit has a bad game, that's what it is, no one here is on the court playing at this level and if we accepted the fact that these guys are not only playing as hard as they can every game for the University and even more so for their personal advancement then as fans we should understand that they're leaving it all out there and just be supportive. Any issues will be fixed in-house by the professionals. Less Critique, More Support, Win or Lose, Ride or Die, Go Illini.
