Before commenting on the wonderful cornucopia of games today, I wanted to give a shout out to Boise St, who's on a roll in the Mountain West. They held off Fresno State and their all-world Center Orlando Robinson in Fresno in OT.

They're 17-4 now and 35th in KenPom. Mountain West is a nice little mid-major this season. 6 teams in the Top 60 in KenPom.

I feel like Michigan is going to get hot and ends up making the NCAAT. Just a hunch they beat Sparty today.

In other news, Louisville fires their head coach, and their next game are hanging tough with Duke. Because college basketball.

I have to pull for Michigan today over MSU, as the Wolverines have more losses than MSU. I dislike Michigan about as much as Iowa, but always have to pull for the team who is further down the BIG standings to give us a better chance for the title.

Izzo has quickly climbed the ranks of most annoying coaches for me. I used to actually kinda like the guy (everyone makes mistakes), but his constant talking to the officials is so obnoxious. Side note: Love these MSU home whites.

I'm not sure I've ever heard a more clear sentence in a non lockdown game.

Pablo Banchero got a rebound and very clearly and loudly said:

Quite literally every time I see him I'm struck by how unathletic he is. If he ever makes it to the league he's gonna get eaten alive.

He is big & has good finesse around the rim. That’s all. The only times he looks really good is when he has an obvious physical advantage. When he plays against guys of a similar size, he gets eaten alive.

On the Az/ASU game, just out of curiosity, looked up Boaklye (5 star c that almost came here), and he is only getting about 12 mpg on a bad ASU squad. Rankings and projections are great but still a bit of a crap shoot how players contribute at the P5. Level. Maybe he will blossom later. But I really like all 3 guys we have coming in regardless of rankings.
