5 teams directly in front of us lost. That would put us at 13. If we can jump one of Baylor (25 point loss to Kansas) or UCLA (2 losses this past week), we’d climb to 12.

I would guess somewhere in that 10-13 range in the AP....wondering if ESPN will hype this game (two teams in top 15 likely playing for conference championship) anything like they hyped the UNC-Duke game Sat......there were several big match up games this last Saturday that I thought ESPN slighted or even overlooked because they were busy slobering over an ACC game of little significance in the grand scheme of things

It was Coach K's last game at UNC. That was the main story and it transcended records

Mizzou at no. 139. Think that’s too high.
That's stellar compared with Georgetown, plumbing Oregon State-like depths at 211. What happened to that program?! (I know: JT III and Patrick Ewing.)

Im gonna beat this dead horse every chance i can. Where's the folks that said Clownzo should have been the coach we hired instead of Underwood?
There's a ton of coaches various people wanted ahead of Underwood ... Clownzo, Archie Miller, Anthony Grant....I'm sure there's many here like me who remember Kevin Keatts and being glued to his last few games at UNC-Wilimington ... and Brad is leaving them all in the dust. By a freakin' mile. Thank God Josh got this right.

Find yourself a woman that loves you like Andy Katz loves the Illini and you'll have a happy life.
We all love Katz here because he consistently strokes our collective ego. Wouldn’t it be funny if deep down he simply has an orange bias? Better check his ‘Cuse coverage…

He's a Wisconsin alum, from the days when its program was a bottom feeder. Perhaps he simply pays particularly close attention to BT hoops compared with your run-of-the-mill national college basketball journalist. That was true even before he departed ESPN.

Seth Davis of Athletic has us at #7 with Purdue at #4 AZ at #5.

Since we beat WI #11, MSU #18 Indiana #24 it makes sense to me.

Other probable NCAA teams we have played - Marquette #14, Notre Dame unranked, Cincinnati unranked, Iowa unranked Rutgers unranked

I don't think most people knew BU was available until he was hired (atleast I didn't).

In fairness, I don't think anyone would have considered Undwerwood available given that he had just finished year 1 at OSU. None of us would have predicted we could poach a first year coach away from a high-major program like that. That's what the kudos for Josh are really for.

I'll just say, once it was officially clear that BU was going to be the coach, most were on board with it.

Now, if you go back through the coaching search thread...it's a little bit of a mess lol. On page 188 of 190 is when it becomes clear BU is gonna be the choice.
