Ok is it just me or should Melendez get more playing time? 
Anyone expecting an easy win here was fooling themselves. Northwestern was coming off 3 straight wins and has been very tough on the road against good teams all season. A 7 point win is about what I expected, so I'll take it. But yeah...that half was ugly.

Total S&^) show second half today. Really no excuse for it with our experience. Looks like it is past time to start getting way more minutes for RJ. I've been of the opinion since Mizzou game he has had way too little playing time. And when the threes are not falling it is incumbent on Underwood to either call a TO or somehow communicate to our super seniors that it is time to pound down low to Kofi especially against a team with no answer to him which is basically any team besides Arizona or Purdue. I don't get it. We better lock in or it's gonna be a disappointing March once again with a wasted year with another All American player.

Every flaw that we fear about with this team came to fruition in the second half. Kofi getting hacked without calls, cold 3 point shooting, bad runs, turnovers and transition defense. Indecisiveness and sloppy play.
And in the end, we win. Because we're good at this. Despite all the Maalox chugging, we're good at this and we win.
RJ is by far the player of the game.
