Had the same thought. Refs will reward you for going up, rather than bail you out for throwing it away. Not saying it's right, just the likelier way to get the call.

i honestly cant believe the calls that went agaisnt kofi versus what was allowed to be done to him. Awful. That said, we gotta stop these big runs.
I dont feel all that bad about being in 2nd/3rd in conference really though. We've had tough sledding with the missed games such that its kinda amazing we were up there. And theres still a chance.

We were assaulted all night long and no calls. Video team get busy cutting up film to share on every media platform known to man. I don't know what else will change these officials. They have major issues and maybe they are told to officiate this way for a reason, but it's not right.

True. That defense was pretty embarrassing for what felt like hours. But yeah, still had a shot to win even being way out of a comfort zone.

in the long run, these officials don't matter in the NCAA. But BU got his point across finally. Kofi gets mugged, and any touch foul gets called against us. I just wish Trent tried to finish the layup. I think we had to get that call

Also, I love Hawk. He's gonna be a good one. He has quite literally everything you want in a player, especially the heart. His fight dragged our lifeless corpse out of the grave and got everyone back into the game.

It should have never come down to requiring an (almost) miracle rally to win the game, even with piss poor officiating. Mark my words: the inconsistency of this team will be the reason we likely don't make it to the second weekend of the tourney, and it's the reason we just probably lost out on the B1G title

Well if we win the B1G tourney than I think we’ll be closer to a 3 but nothing higher.
Outright title is most likely gone but a shared title is still there for the taking. We obviously need to win out and Purdue/UW will lose another game for sure and then hope the winner of that game lose another outside of that game. Ideally is UW lose to Rutgers, beat Purdue and we win out.
I really hope this game gets Hawkins going. It would be huge if he plays like this for the rest of the season.

Coleman freakin Hawkins. There were so many ways he got us back in the game. Start him. I’d love to see him in the front court with Kofi. Both ends of the court he was a huge plus.
