I think we ended up with 11 unofficially on Liddel, 4 on Key, and 5 on Young. Officiating is tough, some get missed.

I mean, he can do it... Just set the meter running and get the AD ready to write a big check. Might be worth it after tonight
As far as the officiating is concerned, whatever to everything they called all night outside of how the treated Kofi. Both ends of the floor, that was an incredible display of 8 on 1. Between the slaps on him everytime he touches the ball down low and the flops/not giving any space to move and officials going right along with it on the other end, those 3 decided to completely remove him from having any effect on this game.

Amen. I am super biased, but I see some absolute garbage in other games, too. The conference used to be the gold standard in consistency. It's so, so far from acceptable now.
I really wish we had the stones to leave. Take the Chicago market to the big 12. The way they’ve let other teams and officials handle Kofi is criminal.

I watch Nebraska versus Northwestern and shake my head at the refs. Its not just our games, although how they ref Kofi is the most egregious.

I don’t know how any one can say that Trent wasn’t fouled on the last play. I’ve seen weaker hockey checks get players sent to the penalty box.

The B1G would be done if that happened but I wouldn’t mind it honestly. If the league is going to be one sided than you got to send a message. Whitman tried last year with his letter to the league. That didn’t work. Now it seems like the refs have been paid to keep us from winning. What else can you do.

Love the fight. Credit to our boys for coming back and nearly stealing this one.
However, the one thing nagging this team is the alarming lack of focus for a veteran group. We build a double digit lead, decide to chill and let the opponent blitz us back into the game instead of keeping the pressure on. Brad needs to do a better job of stopping the bleeding much earlier but it also falls on the players to not keep getting sucked into those lulls.
