Iowa vs. Purdue in B1G Tournament Final

The line is Purdue -2.0. But, somewhat surprisingly, Iowa is ahead of Purdue in most B1G Conference games only statistics. I'm going with Iowa.

Score Margin: IA +11.0 PU +4.3
3 Pt %: IA .386 PU .333
3 Pt FG Made: IA 9.7 PU 7.2
FT %: IA .715 PU .711
Turnover Margin; IA 1.97 PU -1.25

Opp 3 Pt %: PU .318 IA .348
Reb Margin: PU 6.2 IA 2.7

Interesting.

Let's just say the committee takes the results of this game into account for the bracket for a second.

Would an Iowa win here bring us down to a 5 seed in that case?

I don't think so. I think the top four seed lines are locked at this point. And Iowa is still a six in some, though they could move to a five.

Arkansas losing solidified us I think. Four seed in Milwaukee. Worst case is in Buffalo as a four.

No. They are a 5 seed at best. Per both CBS and ESPN has us at the highest 4 seed via the S-Curve. Providence would be bumped if the Committee sees fit to do do but if the reporting is correct, the first 9 seeds are finalized. So todays games might not mean much but who knows what the truth is.

Not imo, but I don’t think the B10 is going to get the respect they have in some past years. I think we are a solid 4, but there could well be a disappointed team or two when the brackets come out.

Anyone know how they are releasing them this year? I find the extended release show unwatchable.

Yale-Princeton Ivy final going on in the only game that is for sure an elimination game today.

Of the 76 tournament bids given to the Ivy in its history, 25 have gone to Princeton, and 24 have gone to Penn. Yale has the third fewest with 5.

Crazy comeback by Princeton, but then with like 15 seconds left and down by 2, they couldn’t get shot off. Looking like great win for Yale, and tough loss for Princeton.

I want no part of Tennessee. Have watched 3 or 4 of their games this year, and have been impressed. Barnes is an excellent coach imo.

Literally just posted similar in the Bracketology thread. Big fan. Want to root for them and Illini in different regions!

My eyes are painted watching this Memphis/Houston game. Interesting tho, the commentators said: "this is a Final Four officiating crew." Man, they are 'letting them play.'

Lastly, Memphis is full of athletes that can't shoot, FTs or from the field. Turnover PRONE as well. Yikes.

Really think a BIG all star team of Kofi, Keegan, J Davis, Ivey, and Trent would be really tough. Probably prejudiced but don’t think Ivey is better than Ayo. Given up career aspirations as NBA scout.
