He was but we were lucky he didn't get a couple technicals.

One of the worst coached games ive ever seen. The 5 mins Grandison was in the game the offense looked 100x better. They didnt guard Hawkins all night and he made it tougher on every other player out there. Noway they can beat Houston if you have a player they dont have to guard

Other than the fact we won, which is the all-important thing, the big positive is that Hawkins was awesome so hopefully he can carry that though. We saw tonight why his playing confidently is important for this team.

Agreed. But Hawkins also has work to do. Maturity matters, as much as being freakin' 6'10 (yes!), exceptionally skilled at basketball, and having a high basketball IQ. So much to work with, but it is essential that he do some serious growing up and thereby put his whole awesome game together. I love pairing him with Kofi.
