If you had $100 in chips how much you laying down on TSJ, Clark, Miller?

Possibly they realize that Tough Love is exactly that! And you don't receive it if your coach doesn't care. His job is to help them grow as players and people and what better way to show it than continuing contact even after the disappointment of a transfer.excited about TSJ, curious if it's known why he's transferring?
I think it's interesting too how players who have transferred away remain in touch with BU evidenced not only with Adam, but also with Alan Griffin who came back to watch a game.
Just a possibility. They really like him though.0440,
Is Brandon Murray just a possibility or is he becoming more than that?
70….if it was just TSJ and Clark….95If you had $100 in chips how much you laying down on TSJ, Clark, Miller?
Coach fired and school going to be penalized.Usually a smart thing to do. With both starting LSU guards in the portal, why wouldn't that be a more attractive team?
No. Just depends on open spots. Miller is definitely contingent on people leaving.Seems like the tone of the board has shifted to Adam Miller coming and not Murray. Is the staff only taking one?
Maybe it was purely financial. This happened before NIL, so maybe he wasn't getting any kickbacks at Illinois. Going to LSU was going to help his family financially under the table. Now with NIL in affect, he can come back and play for the team he loves and still help his family financially...Wild speculation on my part, but maybe he just decided to start making decisions for himself & not solely rely on input from others. Family members and close friends may want what’s best for them instead of what’s best for the person going thru a situation. Maybe he’s at the point in his young life where he’s ready to make his own decisions that best suits him. Maybe Adam stays at LSU, comes here , or transfers to another school. Hopefully it’s more of his decision. He’s probably had people in his ear his entire bball career from junior high and on.
I posted those tweets to address this comment "We don't really know much of anything about any mental/emotional damage via social media. Just a bunch of speculation and narrative-building."Again, what does that have to do with my initial comment about his injuries/illness?
I certainly agree that athletes should be treated well on various social media platforms. I'm just not sold on that being a sole reason a player would transfer. That's all.
Quick someone get on social media....we need a schollie Stat! /sNo. Just depends on open spots. Miller is definitely contingent on people leaving.

That isn't speculation and narrative building. That's straight from Trent.
I don't think it is necessarily that mama needs new shoes. When I was 17 or 18 years old, there was no one on the planet that I loved and respected more than my mom. And if she wanted me to transfer because she felt like I wasn't getting a fair shake, (whether true or not), I would have left in a heartbeat. Maybe wrong, maybe right, I don't know. Just how I was raised.Mamas need new pairs of shoes...
Nope. That makes sense. Waiting on the curbelo decommit first.
Nope.
Hope he does come back. He showed some flashes (Minnesota is the game that sticks out the most) of aggressiveness on offense that would bode well for his return. The defense was there all year long, but it took awhile to see him get into his bag on the offensive end. I'm excited to see what happens.Nope.
It’s not like he didn’t score! He averaged 8 as a Frosh on a team with one AA and another future AA. They didn’t run plays for him and he was always the 3rd or 4th option. He mostly sat in the corner waiting for the catch and shoot 3. Which he converted at a decent clip.(34%ish…correct me if I’m wrong) He was considered one of the absolute top players in the portal last year. Other than the injury, there are really no unanswered questions with Adam. He is a stud.Hope he does come back. I don't disagree at all. My point was more that he had/has the ability to do alot more on offense than was typically shown. And I absolutely agree on the 'why'. I think there's a ton of untapped upside if he does come back. It’s not like he didn’t score! He averaged 8 as a Frosh on a team with one AA and another future AA. NawTSJ is a Mac Fire kid right? I thought we lost out pipeline to MIF?

That all makes sense, but the fans who are negative and crossing the line aren’t going to say, “Gee, I never thought about it like that. Thanks, I’ll stop.” Haters are gonna hate, and idiots are gonna idiot.I never said it was an "Illinois" problem, in fact, I specifically said we're not unique in that regard. But the new reality is that players who expect to make any NIL money are going to be on social media and unlike you, I think it's incumbent not just morally but from a fan perspective that we should acknowledge this situation was FUBAR. We, as Illinois fans, can do better. Players have lots more freedom than they used to and if you want to be an attractive destination as a non-Blue Blood, it would sure make sense to try and be a welcoming place for the student athletes who choose to be here.
Charlie Moore at Miami! Is that not 4 different schools?
