No player is a "lock" until he signs a LOI and shows up on campus healthy and eligible. Anyone that believes lock statements about recruits is beyond naive.

I know we have "insiders" here who know more than most of us. But those insiders base their predictions on what a kid may be telling the coaching staff. And these kids typically say what they know the listener wants to hear. It's foolish to take any of these predictions as gospel.

I see a lineup with Kofi AND size AND athleticism. This year, our Achilles heel was size and athleticism. Outside of Kofi, we were a jump shooting team until RJ and CoHawk came on late. This new group coming in will likely push BU to reinvent some of his O an D schemes. Dare I say it...even pressing at times???
Yes please

Well appears there are some insiders putting their cards on the table. Clark / Shannon lock vs No Shannon and 50/50 Clark. Loser walks the plank… JK

I'll take a starting lineup of Kofi, Hawkins, TSJ, RJ, and Ace any day. Don't really need a true PG when you have 4 guys who can score at all 3 levels and a dominant big man.

And defensively Ace takes over the Trent roll. Probably won't be as good but still above average. RJ is an upgrade over Plummer. TSJ is an upgrade over Grandison. Hawkins an upgrade over Damonte. And Kofi is Kofi, should at least be the same but could be better if he gets leaner.
I would want a legitimate PG if TSJ, RJ, Hawk, and Kofi were my other four starters. Why waste that much firepower with a guy who's not good at directing things. Not necessarily a "pure PG," but someone who can penetrate and make things happen. Epps looks like he might be that guy. Maybe Clark. Not sure about Miller. He seemed to be content just as a jump shooter - never looked comfortable penetrating.

Really hope we get TSJ. Pairing him and RJ on the wings would be dynamite, especially with a capable PG.

Not sure why some on here are so against the potential addition of Jeremiah Williams - 6'5, long, point guard skills, solid defender. 3 point shooting was down this year but he did shoot 32% from 3 last year, would think he would have a chance to get back in the 30s realistically. 2:1 assist to TO ratio. Would be a really solid bench guard. One to watch.

Expect some spots to open up in the next 24-48 hours.
I'm back to provide more guesses! Haha!!!

Lieb
BBV
Hutch
Grandy

All gone. And that's totally fine. We'll then land:

Clark
TSJ
Williams
Another big (maybe Sparks from BSU?)

I don't think BBV would've been heading out to recruit TSJ with Kofi if he was planning on hitting the portal anytime soon.
He seems like a culture guy and he's provided good spot minutes backing up KC. I think he stays.

No matter what happens with Clark, I am really excited about what Epps can be. A lot of teams that went far in the tourney this year had lots of length on the wings along with that one jitterbug guard that could penetrate with ease, hit deep shots, and distribute. Epps can absolutely develop into that guy for us. More importantly, he's a winner. Hope the excitement over Skyy doesn't overshadow his potential impact on this team next year + beyond.
