Reading this thread you would almost forget that Kofi was an All American and one of the most productive/dominant players in college last season. Really proud of all that he’s accomplished, and sending good vibes that he hears his name called tonight.

NBA game is VASTLY different than college game nowadays. 20 years ago, Kofi may have been a lottery pick based on how NBA was played back then. Nowadays, he may (and even that may be a stretch) get his name called on the back end of the 2nd round with the draft and stash guys that play over in Europe.

Crazy, in 1998 Michael Olowokandi went number one overall, Kofi was a much better basketball player than him. Just born in the wrong era.

Yeah I understand the the NBA, thanks. Just rooting for our guy after reading pages of all the things he can’t do.

Johnny Davis as a top 10 pick is wild to me.
As if being a Wiz Kids fan wasn't bad enough, now I gotta cheer for Johnny friggin' Davis...

Alan Griffin sighting.
Unfortunately he will have to live on the coattails of his brother because he wasn't allowed to develop where he wanted to.

Perhaps his brother will take car of him, or he can get on staff with his dad.

Cannot believe Bulls selected Terry... Don't think he is even a 1st round pick.

Not sure. My impression was that they were going to go after either Branham or Liddell.

If this was GarPax, I'd have more question with pick. But AK and Eversley haven't given me much reason to doubt their thinking, at least thus far.
Branham or Liddell would have made some sense. But is the guard position the biggest area of need? Not from what games I saw last season. Somewhat baffling to me.
