We are blessed to have Coach B leading our program 🙏. When you listen to Coach Saban, Harbaugh, Dabo, etc. They give you the raw raw one liners. Coach B breaks it down like he's teaching football 101, he gives us insights to the players and the joint journey between players and coaches.
His pres conference are.must see TV..
C-TOTTY That is what's up!(y) catch the ones they throw you 🙏

anyone else think it was a bit odd regarding the passing game? There were probably more than I remember, but was there even one pass attempt beyond 10 yards?
I call it "doing what we need to do to win." Sorta West Coast Offense-like. 4-6 yards a pop.

The competition is about to start getting tougher (Purdue, Michigan and maybe Ohio State), and we may need to then break out the full-blown passing game.

I'm an old person.

I didn't think that I would live long enough to see Illinois be good again.

And after only two years of BB coaching the team! This is very incredible if you consider the program's history.

TDV just threw for 91%. What? Who cares that we dinked and dunked. We are 7 and motherloving 1. We have the best defense in the country. Enjoy this.

And if you’re nervous about the lack of explosive plays, Mr. Williams (who I’m happy overcame a silly TO, and made a game sealing first down reception), took one of those drags for a 46 yard touchdown.

Beyond excited to have something that hasn’t happened since my father was alive. Like, truly historic, Kurt Kittner, Walter Young, BLloyd days.

But now it’s the Law Firm, Brown Bros, Walters and the defensive secondary as a whole. They deserve their own name. Do your thing, people.

Not automatic, but usually makes a big difference. I seem to remember people saying after Iowa how different it would have been if TDV hadn’t gotten hurt and saying prayers he’d be back against Minny. If I recall, Art is on scholarship too.
Agreed, but TDV was injured in the 1st Q against the squawks and Art (and the D) held things together enough to get the win in a game that was far from decided. UNL could not sustain their offensive momentum after their starter was out.
