Staff has a lot to work with for sure. I was hoping for a more polished product, but I am not a patient man. Like the potential for sure if guys dedicate themselves, which I think they will.

The athleticism definitely stands out. It is night and day compared to last year's team. With that said, they are going to need to get under control and clean things up on offense, but that should come with time. There will be some growing pains for sure, but there is a lot of potential here.

Thoughts so far...Lots of athleticism on this team. We could be spectacular defensively by the end of the year. Half court offense is a little suspect. Free throws could drive me to an early grave (unless TSJ is shooting them). A lot to like though!
I'll see if I can get a sportsbook to take that prop when I'm in Vegas next week

Dainja is somewhat of an enigma. He has offensive skills and size to be an effective back-up center with the capability to star in that role....be he has to hit free throws or he will never get a shot off simply because he is not Kofi and can be completely taken out of the offense and put at the line for a turnover. He has completely too much movement in his FF routine resulting in his eyes never getting set and random lateral motion during his stroke. That will never work with any consistency. But his release is not bad and it can all work if he can cut down the motion.
I'm not too concerned about FT shooting. Shannon, Coleman, Mayer, RJ and Clark should all be very good free throw shooters.
This team is really going to miss Luke Goode. Needed a guy to fill Plummer's shoes and he was it. Could you imagine Plummer on this team? Boy that would be electric.
